Hopie is an independent hip hop artist from San Francisco. She released her debut album, The Diamond Dame, in July 2008, earning her a nomination for URB’s Next 1000 and a slot at Paid Dues 2010. After Hopie then left music to earn a law degree, she returned with two albums in 2011, Dulce Vita and Raw Gems. Hopie is back with her fourth project, Sugar Water, slated for release on June 6, 2013.
